Zug's sushi specialist Black Goldfish opens a second address on Baarerstrasse, this one built around ramen — three broths, bao buns and gyoza, eaten in, taken away or delivered.
Black Goldfish already runs Take Sushi at Bahnhofstrasse 32/A in Zug, opened in March 2024 in the unit Lush used to occupy, where sushi is made to Japanese tradition in front of the guests. Take Ramen is their second address, a few minutes north on Baarerstrasse, and it narrows the focus to ramen, with take-away and delivery alongside the counter.
The soups come in three broths — Spicy Miso, Classic Tsuyu and Tonkotsu — with bao buns, karaage chicken and gyoza alongside them.
Behind both places are Peter Gyurian and Jozef "Dodo" Krajcovic, business partners for more than six years. Gyurian, a trained chef born in Hungary, first came across sushi in the mid-1990s and spent eight years learning the craft under a Japanese sushi master before founding Black Gold Fish in Zug in 2021. Every bowl here is built to order, from the broth to the toppings.
The grand opening is Tuesday 8 September 2026 from 11:00.
