Who we are

Meetz ("we", "us", "our") operates meetz.ch, a venue concierge service that helps clients in Switzerland find and book event venues. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. What data we collect

When you submit a request or message through our website, we collect:

• Contact details you provide: name, email address, phone number, and company (if given).
• Event details: date, time, guest count, event type, budget, and any other information you share about your event.
• If you use the AI-assisted request field, the free text you type is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to extract structured details (such as date, guest count, or budget) and pre-fill the form for you.
• Standard technical data collected automatically by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited), used for security and to keep the site running reliably.

Why we collect it

We use your data only to:

• Respond to your venue or event request and match you with suitable venues.
• Contact you about your enquiry, including sharing venue availability and pricing.
• Maintain and improve the security and reliability of our website.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing purposes without your separate consent.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Meetz. Your data may be processed by:

• Supabase — stores the details you submit through our forms.
• Resend — delivers email notifications of your request to us.
• Anthropic — processes free-text input from the AI-assisted request field to extract structured details. See Anthropic's privacy policy for how they handle this data.
• Vercel — hosts our website and processes standard technical/log data.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

How long we keep it

We retain your request for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Cookies and analytics

We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on meetz.ch. The only things we store in your browser without asking are strictly necessary: the choice you made on the cookie banner, a note that you closed the highlighted venue card, and — for our own team only — an admin login cookie.

If you accept on the banner, we additionally load Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are cookieless and store no persistent identifier; they tell us which pages are read and how fast they load. If you decline, neither script is loaded, and you can change your mind at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. The full list is in our cookie policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at meet_zurich@outlook.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or — if you are in the EU — your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our service evolves. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.
