Our Story
We built Meetz because finding the right venue shouldn't feel like a second job
You know the feeling. It's 11pm and you're still scrolling through the same twelve venue listings you've already seen three times. You've sent emails to eight places and heard back from two. One doesn't do your date, one is double your budget, and the one that actually looked perfect on Instagram turns out to have closed six months ago.
Meanwhile, you know — you just know— that somewhere in this city there's a rooftop, a wine cellar, a lakeside terrace that would be exactly right. It's just that it doesn't come up in a Google search. It's the kind of place you only hear about from someone who already knows it.
We built Meetz because we felt that exact frustration, over and over, on behalf of friends, colleagues, and clients trying to plan something that actually mattered to them — a birthday, a team offsite, a launch, a celebration worth getting right.
So instead of building another directory, we did the slower, more useful thing: we started actually talking to venues. Showing up. Asking questions directories don't ask — about the room's real capacity on a busy Friday, whether the terrace still works if it rains, which spaces owners will only offer to people who ask directly. Over time, that turned into a real network across Switzerland's event and hospitality scene — the kind of access you can't get by filtering a website.
That's what Meetz actually is: not a bigger list, but a shortcut through the list. You tell us what you're picturing — the vibe, the guest count, the budget, the date — and we go do the legwork of matching it to real, available venues, including the ones you'd never have found on your own.
It costs you nothing, because venues pay us, not you. And it stays personal, because that was the entire point from the start — we'd rather spend an hour understanding what you actually want than send you a list of a hundred things that almost fit.
