PAPI

A Swiss restaurant and bar that opened in the Galeries Marval in early August under the line "l'art de bien manger" — burgers and ossobuco next to paella with lobster, and a bar that keeps going after the plates are cleared.

PAPI took over a space in the Galeries Marval, the covered passage off the Rue du Seyon, and opened on 6 August 2026 after an inauguration afterwork with the MINIMA collective two days earlier. The name is set against the tagline "Papi — l'art de bien manger", and the kitchen has been showing a broad register since: burgers with fries, ossobuco, paella heaped with langoustines and lobster, and a pistachio dessert the house calls the Papi Pistachio. On the bar side there are cocktails and La Nébuleuse, the Lausanne brewery, on tap.

The restaurant has no website of its own — the Instagram account @papineuchatel is where the menus, events and guest evenings are posted, and where opening hours are announced. Worth checking there before making the trip.
