The award-winning vegan pita brand opens its second Zürich restaurant, on Dufourstrasse in Seefeld.
Veganitas began in 2018 as a food truck run by Mirko and Beppe, on a mission to serve 100% plant-based food without compromising on taste. It has since grown to restaurants in Zürich and take-aways at Bern and Luzern stations, with its own production kitchen in Kemptthal, and has collected Swiss Vegan Awards along the way.
The pita breads are baked fresh every day and filled with protein-rich plant-based fillings, hand-cut salads and homemade sauces, built with balanced macros for athletes and anyone who simply likes wholesome food. Most fillings and vegetables are sourced locally, and the bread, sauces and desserts are made in-house.

From our guides to Zürich
- October's New Openings — and Which Ones You Can Actually Book for an Event
A pop-up brasserie you can take over for 24, a guild-house hall in Bern's old town, a dinner show for the Christmas party, and a Thai canteen in Geneva you can hire on Saturdays — the October openings worth knowing about, and what each one is actually good for.
- September's New Openings — and Which Ones You Can Actually Book for an Event
An event hall built entirely for private hire, a lakeside cocktail bar already taking Christmas dinner enquiries, a rebuilt techno club that doubles as a corporate party room, and a 700-year-old Altstadt house for the client dinner that matters — the September openings worth knowing about, and what each one is actually good for.
