M Shot Café

Marco Ganassi, a barista and nutrition coach from Scandiano, has opened an organic nutrition bar in Oerlikon — his own coffee blend, açaí bowls, wraps and protein ice cream, and an Emilian aperitivo on Thursdays.

M Shot sits inside TuricumFit on Hagenholzstrasse, under one roof with the functional-training gym, an osteopath, and The Health Studio, the sleep and recovery practice that Ganassi's wife Daniela runs on the other side of the wall. Getting it open took a while: while waiting on permits, Ganassi crowdfunded to cover the fixed costs through the delay. The café was already serving in early September and celebrated its official opening on 12 September 2026.

You order at the window and eat in or take it with you. The standing menu has açaí bowls and avocado toast, wraps, cold-pressed juices, protein shakes and house-made protein ice cream, plus a daily lunch special that is deliberately not listed. Thursday is salad day — a tropical chilli mango salad, a fish and grain salad, or your own mix of any three from falafel, chicken, salmon, egg, feta and avocado — and from 17:00 to 20:00 it becomes an aperitivo Italiano the Emilia-Romagna way, a spritz or something alcohol-free with regional nibbles. Sunday brunch brings baked bites and waffles, and once a month a Saturday-morning yoga class ends with coffee and breakfast.
