The Montagsmarkt crew's winter living room returns to Oerlikon for seven weeks — a bar for Glühwein and cocktails, changing street food, DJs and live music in the salon, and free entry throughout.
Villa Bimbam runs from 5 November to 20 December 2026, Thursday to Sunday, 17:00 to 22:00. It has moved indoors to Halle 550D on Birchstrasse, by the MFO-Park — earlier editions were an outdoor hut village on Max-Frisch-Platz at Bahnhof Oerlikon.
The format is a seasonal event location rather than a restaurant: seating nooks and a living-room bar serving hot chocolate, coffee and cake, Glühwein, apéro and cocktails, with rotating food vendors and a programme that swings between creative workshops, design, street food and music. Selected DJs and occasional live acts play the salon.
Two runs sit inside it. Fondue Disco takes Thursday to Saturday from 5 November to 5 December, cheese fondue with disco, by reservation. The Heiliger Bimbam Christmas market fills two long weekends — 10 to 13 December and 17 to 20 December — with free entry.
