Europaallee's Christmas season returns with a 200-seat fondue chalet on Gustav-Gull-Platz and the Glüehstube bar on Europaplatz.
The Zürcher Weihnachtsallee returns to Europaallee, beside the main station, from 19 November to 23 December. Its centrepiece is the Fondue Chalet on Gustav-Gull-Platz: a timber hall with sheepskin-covered benches and 200 seats inside, serving fondue, rösti, daily lunch menus, selected wines and something sweet to finish.
Tables are booked online, at lunch or in two evening sittings, and groups of up to 200 can reserve with a set menu. New this year is a group apéro served next to the chalet. At the other end of the street, the Glüehstube on Europaplatz is the place for mulled wine and an apéro without a reservation.
There is no parking; the chalet is a short walk from Zürich HB.
**Best for:** a pre-Christmas fondue dinner or a company party close to the station.
