A second home for Zürich's gluten-free French patisserie — chouquettes, éclairs, and Paris Brest Pistache land in Seefeld, alongside daily brioche, baguettes, and quiches.
À Vie was founded by Bettina Meier-Bickel, an art historian and former gallery owner, after her daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease. She draws on her family's three-generation confectionery heritage from Burgdorf to make gluten-free versions of French classics — brioche, zopf (Fri–Sat), éclairs, chouquettes, and seasonal specialties, plus quiches, birchermüesli, coffee, and juice.
The original location is at Zelgstrasse 13 in Zürich; this Seefeld branch at Feldeggstrasse 53 opened August 15, 2026.
