This one has finished its run — we're keeping the page up for the record.
Eighteen days of international theatre, dance, performance and music take over the Landiwiese on Lake Zurich — free entry to the festival grounds, with lakeside bars and restaurants, open-air stages and a programme that spills over into venues across the city.
Zurich's biggest performing-arts festival runs 13–30 August 2026, spread across the Landiwiese in Wollishofen and partner venues in the city, including Gessnerallee. The 2026 programme brings theatre, dance and performance from artists across every continent, alongside a Short Pieces series of solos and duets by emerging makers, family shows, and a discourse strand on democracy and assembly.
Entry to the festival grounds is free — the bars, restaurants and lakeside setting are open to everyone, and you only pay for the ticketed performances. Performance tickets also count as a return ticket in ZVV Zone 110 on the day of the show.
