The fusion sushi house from Biel/Bienne has come to Bärenplatz, a few steps from the Bundeshaus — joining its shops in Biel, Neuchâtel, Delémont, Fribourg and Solothurn.
SOSUSHI started in Biel/Bienne in October 2018 with a fusion take on Japanese cooking rather than a purist one, and has since spread across the region. The Bern shop opened on 5 August 2026 at Bärenplatz 6, a few steps from the Federal Palace, and its sushi can be picked up there or ordered for delivery.
The house is open about where things come from: salmon from Scotland, tuna from Sri Lanka, shrimp from Vietnam, chicken and beef partly from Switzerland, and nori from Takasaki in Japan.
