A new Glattbrugg restaurant pairing Neapolitan pizza and homemade pasta with Hungarian classics like goulash, open all day, every day.
Pastaria opened in October on Oberhauserstrasse in Glattbrugg. It calls itself a love child of two cultures: Italian classics with Hungarian inspiration, good wines and the feeling of eating somewhere that feels like home.
The menu has antipasti and soups, salads, a long list of pastas – from spaghetti aglio olio to pappardelle and tagliatelle with truffle – and Neapolitan-style pizzas made with Italian ingredients. The Hungarian side shows up as a traditional goulash soup and goulash, and there are desserts to finish. The pasta is made in house.
The kitchen runs all day with no midday break and no rest days, and there is free parking. Reservations are by phone.
**Best for:** a relaxed family dinner, or pasta at an odd hour when other kitchens are closed.
