NZZ Bar opened Thursday, August 13, 2026, replacing the former Time Lounge on the first floor of Zürich Hauptbahnhof's main hall. It's run by Candrian Hospitality — also behind Brasserie Lipp, Brasserie Schiller, and Au Premier — in partnership with Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
The 60-seat space serves everything from sourdough breakfast and fresh bowls to beef tartare, wine, and signature cocktails, plus two meeting rooms ("Debatte" and "Perspektive") bookable by the half or full day. Orders come with up to two hours of complimentary nzz.ch access.
