- Dominik Hartmann of Magdalena Is GaultMillau's Chef of the Year 2027 — and He Doesn't Cook Meat
The dining guide's top chef title for 2027 went to a two-Michelin-star kitchen in a 700-year-old house next to the chapel it's named after, in Rickenbach SZ — the first time it's gone to someone who serves no meat at all. We were there for the announcement.
- September's New Openings — and Which Ones You Can Actually Book for an Event
An event hall built entirely for private hire, a lakeside cocktail bar already taking Christmas dinner enquiries, a rebuilt techno club that doubles as a corporate party room, and a 700-year-old Altstadt house for the client dinner that matters — the September openings worth knowing about, and what each one is actually good for.
