Soï, the Pâquis canteen for Bangkok street food, opens a second restaurant at the Jonction.
Since 2017 Soï has been one of Geneva's go-to addresses for punchy Thai street food in the Pâquis. Sandrine Pally and chef Yuttakan Pongkunsup, who also run Suahoy, have now turned their Satu bar at the Jonction into a second Soï: "same same but different", with the same cooking in a more modern, neon-lit room.
The menu runs from grills – Kai Yang chicken with garlic and pandan, Sangsom rum-marinated pork neck, homemade Chiang Mai sausage, "crying tiger" beef – to som tam, laab and other Thai salads. It is open for lunch and dinner on weekdays, and on Saturdays for private hire.
