Razzia's Seefeld institution reopens its corner bar with a cocktail list built by the team behind Barcelona's Paradiso — and chocolates designed to match, from GaultMillau's 2022 Pâtissière of the Year.
RAZZIA sits in a heritage-protected hall in Seefeld with the aura of an old cinema, where restaurant, bar and events have long run under one roof. The redesigned Bar à Cocktail, reopened 29 September, is the first move in a staged relaunch of the whole house — a new restaurant concept follows in January 2027.
The room takes the corner of Seefeldstrasse and Mainaustrasse, behind two large sliding windows that turn it into its own self-contained meeting point in the evening. Marc Wyss reworked an interior first built about a decade ago rather than starting over: 80 square metres, 42 seats inside and 28 on the terrace, with new lighting that picks out architectural details instead of pointing at the guests.
The cocktail list comes from Margarita Sáder and Giacomo Giannotti of Paradiso in Barcelona — No. 1 on the World's 50 Best Bars in 2022, currently No. 4 — who built the menu, train the team on-site and keep advising from a distance. It leans on fermenting, clarifying and infusing rather than straight mixing, with names borrowed from cabaret and cinema: La Première, Venice en Rose, Margot. The signatures are the Brigitte Bardot (pisco, yuzu, mango), the Velvet Negroni (Campari, kirsch, vanilla), a Razzia Martini finished with olive brine shrub, and the Belle Époque, built around Paradiso's own White Truffle Amaro and cacao — alongside classics and a proper non-alcoholic list.
Felicia Ludwig, GaultMillau's Pâtissière des Jahres in 2022, designed a set of pralines specifically to run alongside the cocktail list, built on the same bitter-sweet-sour logic as the drinks themselves.
**Best for:** a dressed-up round of drinks before or after dinner, in a room built for a bit of theatre. Monday to Saturday, 16.00 to midnight.
