Where to Host Your Next Corporate Event in Zurich
Zurich has become a genuinely good city for corporate events — not just because of the obvious hotel conference rooms, but because of a growing set of characterful spaces that make an offsite feel like an occasion rather than an obligation.
Here's a starting point for the range of spaces we look at when a client is planning something for their team or clients.
JED Events — former NZZ printing press, Zurich West
A dramatic industrial-chic conversion of a former newspaper printing press, with exposed brick, expansive glass facades and steel beams across more than 2,000 m². It scales from an intimate networking reception to a full conference, and it's about nine minutes from Zurich HB, which makes logistics easy for out-of-town guests.
Best for: conferences, product launches and receptions that want an unmistakably "Zurich" industrial backdrop.
SOHO Zurich — Zurich West
The same rooftop venue that shows up on our summer terrace list doubles as a strong corporate option — its flexible layout works for anything from a structured all-hands to a more social client event, with the rooftop bar as a natural spot for the after-part of the evening.
Best for: hybrid events that want to move from "business" to "social" without changing venues.
Kongresshaus Zürich — lakeside, Tonhalle complex
Zurich's historic convention center, combined with the Tonhalle concert hall complex, right on the lake. It's built for scale — the kind of venue you reach for when the guest list gets into the hundreds and you need serious infrastructure (staging, breakout rooms, catering logistics) rather than just a nice room.
Best for: larger conferences, AGMs and multi-day events with a formal program.
Beyond the obvious
Beyond these three, Zurich has a genuinely deep bench of loft-style spaces in District 5, boutique hotel meeting rooms, and lakeside function rooms — the right choice usually comes down to guest count, whether you need AV and breakout infrastructure, and how much the venue itself should be part of the story you're telling.
That's usually where we come in: telling us the group size, the vibe, and the must-haves gets you a shortlist instead of a long search.
